Fireworks -Stay Safe |

Resident
We know Bonfire Night brings out the sparkle in all of us but before you light that rocket, let’s keep it safe, legal, and neighbourly. Curfew alert! You can’t set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am — unless it’s New Year’s Eve or Diwali, in which case the rules stretch a little. Otherwise, if your finale fizzles past 11, you might be chatting with us instead of admiring the sky. Pets aren’t party animals — while we might love the sparkle and bang, our four-legged friends often find it distressing. Please be mindful of animals nearby — they don’t understand celebrations, just the scary sounds. Be considerate — not everyone enjoys the noise, especially those with sensory sensitivities or PTSD. We’ll be out and about in Shifnal and Albrighton this week, not to judge your Catherine wheels, but to make sure everyone’s enjoying safely.
So light up the sky, not the neighbourhood drama.
